Are you ready to join the Endurance Project?
The Tribe Says
Jen Gaynor Greenfield
Since joining DWEP I have seen myself grow as a runner and an overall athlete in ways I never thought possible. I am a former high school cross country runner and started getting into obstacle course racing and local road races after college as a hobby.
I started running on my own, no coaching just research. I found myself on average being in the middle of the pack. After a few years and a disappointing marathon performance, I gave up on speed and decided to aim for long-distance instead.
My aspirations would have been unattainable without this training. Balancing working long hours and a busy life with two small children at home, this unconventional low mileage training worked out flawlessly and was a major factor in my success on race day.
Joining the Endurance Project has brought nothing but motivation and positive success in my life along with some great new friendships. I can’t wait to see all of the potential this program will continue to develop in me.
I was a competitive track and field athlete in college but ended up taking about 15 years off from running for various reasons. After getting back into running and trying my own methods of training for 5 years, I was frustrated and seeing no improvements.
